New EPA Regulations for Maintenance Staff & Contractors Effective 2010 There are new laws going into effect in 2010 that will require that your maintenance staff get certified in lead safe work practices, if you manage a property that pre-dates 1978. The attached Power Point Document was presented by Gene Burch of RTK Environmental at the June 2009 Chapter Meeting. In the event that you were not able to attend, we hope that this will help you understand the new regulations and what will be required of you come the New Year.
